Sara is a postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College London, UK. Her research is focused on the adaptability of robots to their environment. It is based on embodiment to achieve stable and efficient adaptability requiring little control. She has researched adaptability applied to locomotion and currently she is applying it on haptic devices for healthcare applications. Sara received the B.Eng. degree in elec-tronic and control engineering from National Poly-technic School, Quito, Ecuador, in 2010, the M.Sc.degree in artificial intelligence from the Universityof Southampton, Southampton, U.K., in 2013, andthe Ph.D. degree in robotics from the Dyson Schoolof Design Engineering, Imperial College London,London, U.K., in 2019.
